Former WWE star shows off new look at ROH Final Battle 2024 [Watch]

A former WWE Superstar currently signed with AEW and Ring of Honor, Athena, defended her record-breaking active title reign at ROH: Final Battle 2024. The War Goddess, in keeping with tradition, once again impressed fans with her gear and presentation for her entrance at the event.

It was over two years ago at Final Battle that Athena first won the ROH Women's World Championship by defeating Mercedes Martinez. In course of time, the former WWE name became the lynchpin of the Ring of Honor's women's division, garnering praise from viewers for her impeccable in-ring output and entertaining character work alongside her "minions," Lexy Nair and Billie Starkz.

The "Forever" Women's Champion recently became the longest reigning title holder in ROH history, although her success came at the expense of her relationship with Starkz. Long-running tensions between the two women finally came to a head this week, enroute to their world title match set for Final Battle 2024.

Athena delivered yet another iconic entrance at the event, arriving in the Hammerstein Ballroom in costume and make-up borrowing from DC comics villain Two-Face. Despite her young protege's best efforts, The Minion Overlord managed to defeat Starkz after tripping the latter face-first onto an exposed turnbuckle and then hitting her finisher.

It remains to be seen how much longer the former WWE NXT Women's Champion will reign supreme over Ring of Honor's women's division.
