Former WWE Superstar jokingly accuses Cody Rhodes of lying about AEW President Tony Khan

A former WWE star has joking accused Cody Rhodes of lying about AEW President Tony Khan. This one is sure to get a response out of Cody.

The star in question is Matt Cardona. Cardona and Cody sat down for an interview with the Major Wrestling Figure Podcast recently where the latter recounted a story of the two of them in an awkward conversation with the AEW President.

It was so hilarious that Cardona broke out laughing in the immediate aftermath of it but he has now taken to Twitter to call out the Undisputed WWE Champion in a hilarious way. He basically implied that The American Nightmare was lying about the whole incident.

He wrote:

Chelsea Green hopes to see Matt Cardona back in WWE

Matt Cardona’s wife Chelsea Green is a popular star and is one of the must see stars on WWE SmackDown, thanks to her persona and promo skills.

She often takes to social media to acknowledge all the good work her husband is doing on the independent scene. Chelsea has now revealed that she would like to see Cardona back in WWE but under a few conditions.

She was speaking in an interview with Gorilla Position when she said:

"I hope so. [As your valet?] No, no, no, I actually think I don't want him anywhere near me in wrestling. We had a long two years together, we lived together, we wrestled together, we rode together. [Too much?] Have you ever lived, worked, and drove and flew with your... Exactly, you should try it one day, you'd know you'd never asked me that question."

If Cardona does indeed make a comeback to his former company, it will be interesting to see the kind of dynamic he will share with Chelsea Green.
