Former WWE Superstar vows to "hurt" top AEW star and dethrone MJF at All In 2024
A former WWE Superstar sent a message to top AEW star ahead of their match on Dynamite next week. The star in question, Lance Archer, also vowed to dethrone MJF as the American Champion at All In 2024.
Lance was part of WWE's roster from 2009 to 2010 and is currently signed with AEW. On the most recent episode of Collision, The Murderhawk Monster assaulted people backstage and squashed his opponent, GKM, as well.
Meanwhile, Archer has his sights set on his opponent next week on Dynamite, Will Ospreay. In an exclusive backstage promo after Collision, Lance Archer vowed to defeat Ospreay and take away his match with MJF at All In 2024. He also vowed to defeat Maxwell Jacob Friedman and win the American Championship at Wembley.
"You want MJF's American title? But I don't think you belong in that title picture anymore, so I'm going to hurt you, I'm going to put you down, I'm going to beat you in a way that you've never been beaten before. And then I'm gonna go to London, I'm going to face MJF, I'm going to take the American title." [0:33-0:52]
Former WWE Superstar on his history with Will Ospreay
Former WWE Superstar Lance Archer has had a number of matches against Will Ospreay in Japan and other places. During the same exclusive promo, The Murderhawk Monster also opened up on his history with Will and said he would put him down next Wednesday.
"Oh Will Ospreay, my Tamagotchi from Japan, we meet again on Wednesday on Dynamite but for those who don't know there's a little bit of history between you and I, we fought in Japan, we fought in Dallas, Texas, you won some, I won some. But on Wednesday, I'm going to have a damn good time putting you down harder than you've ever been put down before. A lot of people have put you to the test, hell you put them to the test." It remains to be seen if Archer could beat Ospreay on Dynamite next week and earn the right to challenge MJF at All In 2024.
