Former WWE tag team champions reunited on AEW
In heartwarming scenes, two former WWE champions came together in the ring on AEW Dynamite. The stars being discussed are none other than NXT's Undisputed Era members. Kyle O'Reilly, Roderick Strong, and Adam Cole were together again in the ring tonight. The fourth faction member, Bobby Fish, had worked in AEW but left the company in 2022.
Roderick Strong and Adam Cole have been together in AEW since 2023 and are part of the Undisputed Kingdom. However, Kyle O'Reilly, who had teamed up with them in 2022, was out of action for quite a long period. Upon his return, he refused to join Roderick Strong and the Undisputed Kingdom as the faction had since turned heel.
However, after constant approaches from the Messiah of the Backbreaker, Kyle seemingly decided to forgive him. On the latest edition of Dynamite, Adam Cole lost to Konosuke Takeshita in a great contest. While Roderick Strong had already defeated Lance Archer and now goes to Full Gear to face MJF, the Panama City Playboy failed to punch his ticket to show as he failed to win the bout.
Following the match, Roderick Strong attacked The Alpha when he beatdown Adam Cole post-match. While Takeshita stood tall once again after a low blow on Strong, Kyle O'Reilly made his way to the ring and helped chase off the International Champion. He then picked up Strong but refused to shake hands with Cole.
Only time will tell if O'Reilly will join hands with the Panama City Playboy again.
