Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion is the "most hated man in AEW," claims Tommy Dreamer
ECW legend Tommy Dreamer has declared that a former WWE World Heavyweight Champion is currently the most hated man in AEW. Dreamer named another performer who is despised by fans after his recent actions.
The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion in question is Christian Cage. He has been signed to AEW since 2021 and has been doing great as a heel. The 50-year-old veteran also won the Casino Gauntlet Match at All In 2024, earning an All Elite Wrestling World Title shot.
Looking at his remarkable work as a heel in the past year, WWE and ECW legend Tommy Dreamer deemed Christian Cage the most hated man in AEW currently. On the Busted Open podcast, the 53-year-old said the following about the most despised man in the Tony Khan-led promotion:

Tommy Dreamer added that former AEW World Champion Jon Moxley is also close to being the most hated figure after choking out his former friend, Bryan Danielson, with a plastic bag at All Out recently. He even formed a new faction with Claudio Castagnoli, PAC, and Marina Shafir.
WWE legend pointed out that a heel AEW manager couldn't generate heat
Tommy Dreamer also named AEW manager Don Callis as a great heel. However, the former champion pointed out that Callis was unable to generate heat for himself or his clients, such as Konosuke Takeshita and Kyle Fletcher, because there was no real direction.

Nonetheless, there was a time when Don Callis was being booed out of the arena. It will be interesting to see whether he can achieve the same success in the company.
