Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion surprisingly makes AEW return at Full Gear

A former WWE World Heavyweight Champion made his surprising AEW return after a few months during Full Gear 2024 Zero Hour. The legend returned and joined the commentary team during a big match.

The name in question is Paul Wight (fka The Big Show). Wight has been signed with AEW since 2021 and has only wrestled a handful of matches in his tenure until now. Nonetheless, Big Show has been active in the commentary and several backstage segments on the show.

Paul Wight was last seen on the commentary desk in July during the Battle of the Belts XI show. The former WWE World Champion finally made his All Elite return during the Full Gear 2024 Zero Hour. He joined the commentary team for the match between popular star "Big Boom!" A.J. and Q.T. Marshall, and also accompanied The Rizzler to the ringside.

During the match, Paul Wight stepped in to have a face-off with Q. T. Marshall as the latter was seemingly going to hurt The Rizzler. After Big Boom A.J. defeated Marshall, Wight celebrated the win with The Rizzler and Big Justice.

Only time will tell what the future has in store for The Big Show in All Elite Wrestling.
