"Frustrating" reason why talent want to leave AEW revealed (Exclusive)
A source has just commented on a potential reason why several AEW stars have left the Tony Khan-led company over the past few years. They brought up how this may be due to some frustrations they have accumulated during their time with the promotion.
This comes at a time when several guys on the roster such as The Lucha Brothers and Miro, formerly known as Rusev, are on their way out of the Jacksonville-based promotion. The luchadors have been linked to a move to WWE, whereas The Bulgarian Brute has requested for his release from the company.
In an exclusive Live Q&A conducted by Joe Lowry, WrestleVotes was asked whether AEW stars had creative control and potential reasons why others have left the company if this was the case. He mentioned how it was not control, but rather that they had a way to voice their concerns, and pitch some ideas regarding their booking.
He then talked about what potential reason stars like The Lucha Brothers left the company. He believed that it was done due to them potentially having more exposure on screen there, as in AEW, they appear every once in a while, and this could have resulted in frustration on their part, as they prepare for work with no guarantee of being on-screen.

It remains to be seen what the future has in store for The Lucha Brothers.
Rey Fenix may have confirmed his departure from AEW
Earlier tonight, Rey Fenix posted a slideshow of photos from his time with AEW. This included a picture of him with his brother Penta El Zero Miedo, the Death Triangle, and several other names on the roster.
His Instagram post seemed to hint at a farewell, as he was looking back at his time with the Tony Khan-led promotion. Although not explicitly mentioned, this is another hint at Rey and his brother are on the way out of the company and possibly headed to WWE.
"Blessed Wrestling, Thanks for everything," Rey Fenix wrote. [Translated on Google]
Fans will just have to stay tuned for more updates regarding the luchador duo, and when and where they could make their imminent debut.
