Further details on alleged 'injustice' against AEW star and Tony Khan's backstage reaction to potential WWE move - Reports

Interesting details have emerged of an alleged ‘injustice’ against AEW star Rey Fenix and how Tony Khan reacted backstage to his rumored WWE move. This will no doubt shed some light on the ongoing tense situation.

The Lucha Brothers have not been seen in action for many months in the Jacksonville-based promotion and reports came out about how they were soon going to move to WWE. While there has been a lot of confusion regarding what happened,

Sportskeeda’s own Dr. Chris Featherstone gave some updates on his X/Twitter account with some information.

"I received information from an AEW source on November 20 regarding the Lucha Brothers' status, but did not report it as I was waiting for one of them to begin speaking their mind about the situation (I was told that was coming). I was also told that day that Penta's contract was soon ending with AEW."

He continued further:

"Rey Fenix did just that (spoke his mind), so here is some intel I received: - "The alleged excuse that Tony Khan found out about Lucha Brothers [being] in talks with WWE is 'fake news,' and the real reason [will be] revealed." - There is a 'real story' behind the situation with Rey Fenix, which is a 'huge injustice.' - Expect the Lucha Brothers to go more in-depth about their time in AEW when they are free and clear to do so, and 'when they do, [it] is going to be ugly.'"

Rey Fenix has been slowly making his voice heard with cryptic social media posts about the current situation and will soon come out with more information, as revealed by Dr. Chris.
