“GOODBYE,” says Max Caster after former WWE Champion announces his AEW contract is expiring next week

Max Caster has sent a snarky farewell message to a former WWE Champion who recently announced that his AEW contract will expire next week. The latter is none other than Bryan Danielson.

The American Dragon has emerged as one of the most respected figures in AEW's locker room since debuting in the promotion in 2021 at the All Out pay-per-view. However, Danielson recently revealed that his contract with the Tony Khan-led promotion is set to run out next Thursday, August 1, 2024.

Danielson's announcement has led to a spurt of conjecture regarding his future in All Elite Wrestling, as he is set to challenge Swerve Strickland for the AEW World Championship at All In 2024 next month, weeks after his deal with the company supposedly expires. Max Caster, however, has expressed his approval of the prospect of the 2024 Owen Hart Cup winner departing from AEW.

The Acclaimed member recently took to X/Twitter to voice his response to Bryan Danielson's revelation regarding the status of his contract. Caster sent a seemingly sarcastic farewell message to the 43-year-old veteran and expressed relief at Danielson's potential exit while alluding to his position in disciplinary committee.

"GOODBYE!!! [middle finger emoji] No more fines!!! [devil-face emoji],"wrote Caster.

Check out Max Caster's tweet below:

This is not the first time Caster has targeted Danielson on X. He previously claimed that the latter would not fine him for his controversial social media remarks because the former World Trios Champion supposedly had "too much dirt" on him.

AEW doctor does not want Bryan Danielson to wrestle before All In 2024

Since arriving at All Elite Wrestling three years ago, Bryan Danielson has wrestled some of his career's most intense and physically demanding matches. He had to retire due to concussion-related issues in 2016. However, he miraculously returned to the squared circle in a few years and has shown no signs of slowing down.

Danielson will finish his full-time wrestling career this year and is headed to Wembley Stadium to compete for the AEW Title next month. During a recent interview with Renee Paquette, he revealed that All Elite's ringside doctor, Michael Sampson, had advised him not to wrestle until All In 2024, which Danielson claimed was a tough instruction to follow.

Sampson's comments are all the more pertinent when viewed in conjunction with Bryan's recent remarks about his neck condition.

It remains to be seen whether Danielson will succeed at winning his first World Championship in All Elite Wrestling at All In and whether he will continue to be associated with the promotion after his current deal expires.
