Gunther's former opponent reacts after running away from Jon Moxley and Marina Shafir on AEW Dynamite

Jon Moxley returned to television on the latest episode of AEW Dynamite. Marina Shafir also made an appearance on the Wednesday Night Show.

The two stars had a backstage segment with reigning WWE World Heavyweight Champion Gunther's former opponent, Joe Alonzo. The 27-year-old faced The Ring General in a singles match on the April 8, 2022, episode of Friday Night SmackDown in a losing cause.

Jon Moxley opened this week's Wednesday Night Dynamite and called out Darby Allin before delivering a cryptic message to veteran commentator Tony Schiavone. Later in the show, fans saw The Lunatic Fringe engage with the backstage crew before Marina Shafir appeared out of nowhere.

Shafir attacked the security guards. Joe rushed in to intervene but decided to retreat and ran away. Later, he reacted to the clip of the backstage segment posted by AEW's official X (Twitter) account.

"Gonna be a NO for me, big dawg," Joe wrote.

Bully Ray thinks Jon Moxley subtly teased the arrival of Shane McMahon in AEW

As noted above, former AEW World Champion Jon Moxley delivered a cryptic message to Tony Schiavone during his promo segment this past Wednesday. The Purveyor of Violence told Schiavone, ''This is not your company anymore,'' which left fans dumbfounded.

Meanwhile, during a recent episode of Busted Open Radio, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray claimed that The Lunatic Fringe subtly teased Shane McMahon's potential arrival in Tony Khan's promotion through a cryptic message.

"Moxley comes out and says [to Tony Schiavone], 'This is not your company anymore.' What is he talking about? I'll let you know what I think, 'cause I'm sure as hell not sure. I think Schiavone was the conduit to Tony Khan. Is Moxley talking about Shane [McMahon]?" he said.

Notably, Tony Khan had a secret meeting with The Prodigal Son earlier this year. It will be interesting to see if Shane becomes All Elite in the coming weeks.
