"He knew everything" - Tony Khan shocked huge AEW wrestler
An AEW wrestler has revealed his shock and amazement at Tony Khan’s memory and hailed him by saying, ‘He knew everything.’ This might surprise some of the fans.
Bobby Lashley recently signed up with AEW and has had an eventful month. After making his debut and aligning with the Hurt Syndicate, he went on to have a match with Swerve Strickland at Full Gear, where he came out victorious.
The All Mighty was a guest on the Chris Van Vliet show. He was asked why he picked AEW, and he revealed that Tony Khan knew everything about him. Lashley said:
“Going back to what I was saying before on why I picked AEW because when I did meet Tony, man, the dude actually surprised me in a lot of different ways. Like he knew everything. I saw him and he knew the matches that I had, where I was at, what I was doing, interviews that I’ve had. Just all the way across the board, he really is in touch with a lot of things," he said.
Lashley continued:
"And then one thing he said to me after we were talking, and I was just like, ‘This is me, and this is stupid, but I am gonna say it.’ He said, 'You know what? Alright.' 'Cause we discussed the first part about us working together and where we needed to be as far as like the details of it, and he was like, alright, we will fill this out this week, and then he threw that off.” [1:17:38 - 1:18:22]

“He said, look, I am a man of my word, you can trust me on that, and he said. 'you are with me for as long as we have this,' and boom. And I was like, in the wrestling business, 'are you like trying to (laughs)? And Dan (Lambert) was with me, and Dan was like bro, that is one thing I can say about him, that he is a man of his word,” he said. [1:18:23 - 1:18:45]
