Heartbreaking Bryan Danielson report surfaces; AEW All In could end catastrophically for former WWE champion

A veteran wrestling journalist recently reported something about the former WWE World Champion Bryan Danielson that could be heartbreaking for the fans. If the said report is to be believed, the ending of AEW All In 2024 could be catastrophic.

Bryan Danielson is set to challenge the AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland at the upcoming All In 2024 Pay-Per-View. The former WWE Superstar has also put his career on the line for the highly-anticipated main event match. Meanwhile, the veteran wrestling journalist, Dave Meltzer has a heartbreaking report regarding Danielson.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that The American Dragon showing disinterest towards winning the AEW World Title in interviews is not a swerve:

"I did hear from Bryan Danielson, so the deal with him doing the interviews of how he’s not interested in winning the championship, that wasn’t a swerve to make people think he wasn’t going to win. In AEW one of the reasons he lost so much is he just wants to put people over, he wanted to do things that he perceives are for the good of the business."

Meltzer noted that the real-life Danielson doesn't need a World Title:

"One of the reasons he came to AEW was to help AEW because he thought the better thing for the business as a whole was a strong AEW, that’s not the main reason but it was a reason. The real life Bryan Danielson, is he motivated does he need to win the world title? The answer is no. The storyline Danielson right now, yes the answer would be yes." [H/T: WOR]

AEW World Champion seemingly turned heel on Bryan Danielson

On AEW Dynamite this week, the current All Elite World Champion Swerve Strickland made things personal with Danielson ahead of their match at All In 2024. Swerve mentioned Bryan's daughter and attacked him from behind while also mocking the veteran with the 'Yes' chants before leaving.

Henceforth, it remains to be seen if Swerve manages to retain his title and retire The American Dragon at the upcoming Wembley show.
