House of Black member and opponent get a standing ovation; Tony Khan joins the untelevised moment

Tony Khan lauded House of Black member Brody King and his opponent's performance on this week's Rampage tapings. AEW taped the show after its flagship show, Dynamite, at the Entertainment & Sports Arena in Washington, which will air on Friday, December 20.

On AEW Rampage: Holiday Bash 2024, the former one-time AEW World Trios Champion locked horns with the Mexican luchador in the Continental Classic 2024 Gold League Match. The House of Black member came out victorious from the bout.

Following the match, Komander and Brody King received a standing ovation from the Entertainment & Sports Arena crowd for their amazing performance. Even the AEW President, Tony Khan, came out from the back and asked the fans to cheer louder for the two stars.

Both Brody King and Komander have wrestled four matches in the Continental Classics tournament. The former has won two bouts in the tournament. Therefore, his current score stands at 6. Meanwhile, Komander hasn't had any luck winning his matches. Hence, his score remains nil.


Update on Tony Khan launching new show amid Rampage cancellation rumors

It was rumored that AEW was planning to cancel Rampage and Battle of the Belts soon. Amid these rumors, reports emerged that Tony Khan planned to launch a new weekly show called Shockwave on FOX.

According to recent reports, there has been very little progress regarding the show. Though the officials have trademarked it, it hasn't been officialized yet, which indicates it remains a hypothetical project.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reported that this particular project is still in the planning stages. The company has not decided on the basic details of the show yet, and there haven't been any discussions about its length either. Therefore, it will be a while before the promotion decides to launch the show on TV.
