House of Black member's video message suddenly airs outside AEW

A member of the House of Black faction appeared on a major promotion outside AEW through a video message. The star answered a major challenge for an upcoming crossover show.

The House of Black member in question is Brody King. He made his AEW debut in 2022 as a member of the HOB faction, which also consists of Malakai Black, Buddy Matthews, and Julia Hart. Brody is currently participating in the ongoing Continental Classic 2024 tournament. He also competed in the tournament last year.

Meanwhile, Brody King appeared in a video message on the X (fka Twitter) handle of New Japan Pro-Wrestling. He answered the open challenge put forward by David Finlay. The AEW star called out Finlay for a match at the upcoming Wrestle Dynasty event in the Tokyo Dome on January 5, 2025.

Brody also reacted to his video message, stating the following on X (fka Twitter):

"BIG BAD TOKYO DOME KING"

Brody also mentioned the War Dogs faction of David Finlay, saying they just bark, but he bites. Moreover, Wrestle Dynasty will mark the return of Brody King to New Japan Pro-Wrestling since his last match took place in 2022.


House of Black member wants a trios match in New Japan Pro-Wrestling

The HOB member, Brody King, recently expressed his desire to make his in-ring return to New Japan Pro-Wrestling. In an interview with WrestleSphere, Brody said that he would love to go back to New Japan and also compete in a trios match alongside his HOB partners, Malakai Black and Buddy Matthews.

“I would love to go back to New Japan, in Japan specifically, and do some matches there. I would love to do a trios match with the House of Black in Japan, I think that would be really amazing."

Meanwhile, Brody King will return to NJPW at the Wrestle Dynasty event in January 2025 for a potential match against David Finlay. Only time will tell when the other HOB members will wrestle in New Japan.
