House of Black member willing to step up and challenge Jon Moxley in AEW - "I'm not afraid" (Exclusive)
Jon Moxley has begun his AEW takeover, and the whole locker room has been put on notice. Despite recent massacres by Moxley and The Blackpool Combat Club, one member of The House of Black is not backing down and has just issued an ominous warning for what's to come in AEW, along with a threat to Moxley.
The House of Black dominated three enhancement talents on AEW Collision this past Saturday, right before Claudio Castagnoli, PAC, and Wheeler Yuta retained the World Trios Championship over Top Flight and Action Andretti. After the match, Moxley and Marina Shafir joined in as the heels destroyed Top Flight, The Dark Order, and Lio Rush, until several babyfaces made the save. All Elite Wrestling continues to tease a feud between The Blackpool Combat Club and House of Black.
Brody King knows The Purveyor Of Violence from the past and knows how violent the former Dean Ambrose can get. Speaking to Sportskeeda Wrestling Senior Editor Bill Apter on WrestleBinge, King was asked about Moxley and if officials are going to let the World Champion take over:
"He's definitely going by the take-by-force method, and I think that a Jon Moxley in charge is going to be very dangerous, especially with the people that are under him right now. So, it will be a very interesting place... more violent, more intense, but that's kind of what I live for, so I'm not afraid of the outcome, I just don't know if I will agree with it," Brody King said.
King and Moxley have wrestled just once inside the AEW ring. The July 6, 2022 edition of Dynamite saw Moxley retain the Interim World Championship over King by referee's decision in just over eleven minutes.
The House of Black set for AEW Dynamite
All Elite Wrestling will return to Salt Lake City, Utah for Wednesday's Dynamite episode. Rampage will also be taped on Wednesday at the Maverik Center, to air on Friday night.
The House of Black will be in trios action on Dynamite, but no opponents have been announced. Below is the updated lineup for Dynamite:
- We will hear from Don Callis and Kyle Fletcher
- The House of Black will be in action
- Shelton Benjamin vs. ROH World Tag Team Champion Sammy Guevara
- Ladder War for the ROH World Championship: Mark Briscoe (c) vs. Chris Jericho
- World Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks and TNT Champion Jack Perry vs. Private Party and Daniel Garcia
A push for The House of Black seems to be in order. After their win over enhancement talents on AEW Collision, Tony Schiavone pushed how they are the most successful team in the trios division.
