House of Black’s misfortune continues on AEW Dynamite

A House of Black member failed to emerge victorious in another match on AEW Dynamite. Brody King faced Ricochet tonight in a one-on-one contest.

The One and Only has been on a roll since arriving in AEW. He was undefeated for almost two months in AEW. However, the star was pinned by Konosuke Takeshita at the Full Gear pay-per-view. Soon after, he was added to the Continental Classic tournament's Gold League.

Ricochet lost his first contest against Claudio Castagnoli. He rectified himself in the second contest after picking up a victory against Komander. He was slated to face Brody King in the third match at the Winter is Coming edition of Dynamite. While Brody King started his tournament with a bang as he picked up a victory against Darby Allin, he lost to Claudio Castagnoli in the second one.

Both stars entered the contest with a win and a loss apiece. The bout was entertaining where the House of Black member dominated the majority of the contest. However, Ricochet was able to retaliate and won the contest after a Spirit Gun.

This was the second consecutive loss for the House of Black member in the Continental Classic tournament. As of now, Ricochet, Will Ospreay, and Claudio Castagnoli are leading the Gold League's table with six points each.

It remains to be seen who will take the lead on the upcoming editions of Rampage and Collision.
