How did FTR escape The Death Riders after getting kidnapped? Speculation on the unsolved questions and the mystery ally
The Death Riders are currently the apex predators of AEW. On the latest episode of Collision, they were seen kidnapping former AEW World Tag Team Champions, FTR.
This week on Dynamite, Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood explained what happened after Jon Moxley and his faction apprehended them. They said that they were blindfolded, dragged outside, beaten up, and left in the cold. The duo didn't get into the details of this attack. However, on the newest episode of Wrestling Observer News Radio, Bryan Alvarez and Dave Meltzer discussed the incident.
Meltzer speculated that The Death Riders beat FTR up and left them on the pavement. Interestingly, he believes that the former AEW World Tag Team Champions were not kidnapped but forced against their will:
"They were left lying on the pavement. And then the guys left. And they had all these thoughts about being left in this freezing cold weather, on the pavement, knocked unconscious. They were left for dead. I guess they weren't kidnapped Maybe they were thrown in a truck and then driven somewhere and dropped on the pavement somewhere else. I don't know," said Meltzer.
FTR's Fight for the Fallen ally against The Death Riders speculated to be Adam Copeland
In addition to the above-mentioned attack, FTR revealed that their next appearance will be at Fight for the Fallen 2025. This television special will take place in Asheville, North Carolina on January 1, 2025. Furthermore, they stated that they would arrive with an ally to battle The Death Riders.
Bryan Alvarez and Dave Meltzer were certain that their ally would be Adam Copeland:
"Its gotta be Adam Copeland. That makes perfect sense for Adam Copeland to return on January 1st in Asheville," said Meltzer.
The WWE legend has been recovering from a foot injury he sustained earlier this year.
