Huge update on AEW Collision's broadcasting partner
AEW Collision’s home in Canada is set to get a new name and a new banner in what is a significant development. This is important for the fans to know.
Collision has aired on Bell Media’s Discovery channel in Canada until now. However, it has now been confirmed that the channel will be rebranded as the USA Network in Canada.
The rebranding will begin on January 1 and the show will air on the network on Saturdays at 8 p.m. ET.
A statement from the company read:
“AEW COLLISION Saturday nights from 8-10 p.m. ET/PT *check local listings for timing. Founded by CEO, GM and Head of Creative Tony Khan in 2019, AEW (All Elite Wrestling) is a red-hot professional wrestling promotion featuring a world-class roster that is injecting new spirit, freshness and energy into the industry."
The press release further noted:
"Airing on Saturday nights, COLLISION is a two-hour program that features some of the biggest names in professional wrestling, compelling storylines, and incredible in-ring action that super-serves the passionate fanbase. Additionally, fans can continue to catch DYNAMITE Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on TSN, TSN.ca, and the TSN app.”
After Dynamite, which airs on Wednesdays, Collision is the company's second biggest show, followed by Rampage. Some of the main stars who regularly appear on Collision are Kazuchika Okada, Kris Statlander, and Orange Cassidy.
Julia Hart made her return on AEW Collision
House of Black member Julia Hart made her shocking return on AEW Collision to take out Jamie Hayter in a shocking moment.
The former TBS Champion was last seen in the company in April, when she lost her title to Willow Nightingale. Since then, she has been away dealing with an injury. However, she returned to Collision after Jamie Hayter lost her match to Willow.
After the match, as Hayter was in the middle of the ring, the lights went out, and Julia Hart was in the ring. She hit the DDT on Hayter to send an emphatic message to the locker room that she was back.
