"I feel so lucky we get to do this forever"- AEW star Sammy Guevara's heartwarming birthday post for wife Tay Melo
Tay Melo recently celebrated her 30th birthday, and her husband, Sammy Guevara, posted a heartwarming message for her. Guevara and Melo have been together since 2022. After dating for a few months, the couple tied the knot, and at Double or Nothing 2023, they announced their pregnancy.
In November 2023, Melo gave birth to a beautiful daughter named Luna. The former WWE star, who recently returned to AEW TV after a nearly two-year absence, is celebrating her 30th birthday today.
Hence, her husband, AEW star Sammy Guevara, took to social media to pen a heartfelt post dedicated to his wife.
"One night after a show right before we got married I was asked how did I know that Tay was the one. And the answer was easy. 'If I could be anywhere in the world it would be next to her' I’m so happy I’ve gotten to be next to you as we traveled the world or beat people up in the ring or watching you go super saiyan Tay as you gave birth to Luna. It’s always an adventure even if we are just going to the store. Thank you for being an amazing wife and an amazing mother to our daughter. Happy birthday my love. I feel so lucky we get to do this forever ❤️."

Sammy Guevara reveals why he never wants to work with Don Callis again
Sammy Guevara spent most of his AEW run working with Chris Jericho. They were together first in the Inner Circle and then in the Jericho Appreciation Society. Guevara also had a very brief run as part of The Don Callis Family.
During an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling's senior editor, Bill Apter, Guevara was asked if he would like to work with Don Callis again. The former TNT Champion replied that he has closed the door on that ever happening.
"I was in it for, like, a week, [but now], honestly, no. I just think that'd be going backwards for me. You know, it didn't work out. And it's like, it's kind of like if you wanted to go back with your ex, you know, it's like, there's a reason you guys are not together no more. There's a reason me and Don Callis are not together no more. So I'm not in the family no more. So let's just go and cross that bridge, say it's done, and move on," Guevara said. [From 15:54 onwards]
Guevara is the reigning ROH Tag Team Champion alongside wrestling veteran Dustin Rhodes. It will be interesting to see what's next for Sammy Guevara in AEW.
