"I’ll take care of you in the bedroom" - Jim Ross reveals he rejected female WWE star's advances
Jim Ross revealed he received an interesting proposition from a WWE star. However, he turned her down.
Tammy Sytch fka Sunny was once one of the most sought-after women in the wrestling business. She was known for her good looks and charm more than anything else. Throughout her run in the WWE, she was seen as mere eye candy by the fans. Behind the scenes, she was known for being a little too flirty with some of the male superstars. Over the years, her life turned upside down as she took to drugs. However, some of the stories surrounding her from back in the day are still quite famous.
Speaking on his Grilling JR podcast, Jim Ross recalled how Sunny offered to move in with him after his wife passed away. She offered to be a "good girlfriend" and take care of him. However, the legendary commentator quickly turned her down because he wasn't naive enough to let her drama into his life.
“She got break after break after break. She brought a lot of this sh*t on herself. I remember her offering she wanted to move in with me in Oklahoma at one time. Yeah, I’m a good girlfriend. I can cook. I’ll take care of you in the bedroom. Blah, blah, blah, and we can have a great time. And I thought about it for like, 10 seconds. No way in hell. I mean, I might be naive and lonely and heartbroken, but god damn it, I already been down that road. I already saw what she was all about, and I wasn’t going to bring myself into the dramatic aspect of my life, and I’m sure as glad I didn’t do it. A piece of ass is a piece of ass. What the hell. Ain’t worth the trouble…I dodged the bullet there. I promise you.” [H/T WrestlingNews.co]
Jim Ross commented on Joe Tessitore
Joe Tessitore made a name for himself as a sportscaster for ESPN and ABC. As a result, WWE signed him in July 2024 and he started his duty as a commentator for RAW on September 2. Since his arrival, fans have praised how well Joe Tessitore has adapted and brought his unique style of commentary to the Stamford-based promotion.
Speaking on his Grilling JR podcast, even Jim Ross couldn't help but praise Joe Tessitore's commentary skills. Ross even admitted he didn't think Tessitore would do such a good job so early on as a WWE commentator.
“I got questions about Joe Tessitore, who does a lot of football for ESPN. He’s built himself a nice business, hasn’t he? He’s making some serious money. Gotta be making some big money with ESPN and WWE, two great clients to have if you’re an announcer. He does a nice job. He does a better job than I thought he ever would this early, to be honest with you. So they made a good hire there."
It will be interesting to see when Jim Ross will make his next appearance for AEW as a commentator.
