"I want my money back" - RVD publicly trashes spot from AEW Collision match

This week's episode of AEW Collision featured some big matches and lots of action. However, RVD trashed a spot from one particular match on the show.

AEW Collision this week promised an exciting night of action. The main event was set to feature Bang Bang Gang who faced off against House of Black in a trios match. Another exciting match was the singles contest between Thunder Rosa and Deonna Purrazzo.

Fabs were also eagerly anticipating another promising match, the AEW World Title Eliminator bout between Swerve Strickland and Tomohiro Ishii. During the match, Swerve went for his forearm strikes, but Ishii seemingly remained unfazed by them. Instead, Ishii kept pushing forward despite Swerve's multiple forearm strikes. This even surprised the AEW World Champion.

However, RVD took to social media to trash this spot from the match. Responding to a fan post on this segment, he made a startling statement.

"I want my money back."

In the end, it was Swerve Strickland who picked up the win over Tomohiro Ishii in this match.

RVD wants to wrestle John Cena one more time

Earlier this year, John Cena showed up at Money in the Bank to announce that he was retiring from the WWE. He also announced a retirement tour that will see him wrestle one last time at the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania next year before he bows out one last time at the end of the year. This announcement has gotten a lot of fans and critics talking.

Speaking on his One of A Kind podcast, Rob Van Dam mentioned that he wanted to have a match against John Cena as part of his retirement tour.

“I hope they bring me in for a rematch with Cena. That would be super cool. I don’t know if they know, but I know I could have that same match. Absolutely.”

RVD and John Cena have a bit of a history together. Rob Van Dam won his first WWE Championship by beating Cena at ECW One Night Stand in 2006.
