Identity of MJF’s informant on AEW Dynamite revealed
AEW star MJF hired an information on Dynamite last week to deliver an important message. The star who carried the message was an independent pro wrestler, Duke Davis.
Duke has been wrestling since 2016 and has been one of the huge names on the independent circuit. He wrestled at AEW in 2021 on Dark and Dark: Elevation episodes as an enhancement talent. He returned to the Jacksonville-based promotion in 2023 to wrestle on Rampage and hasn't performed on the show since then.
Duke Davis returned to TV on a recent edition of Dynamite. Recently, MJF called a certain person as he wanted to pull some strings to handle Adam Cole. He was told to hand Don Callis money and his Dynamite Diamond Ring. The Salt of the Earth also sent a message that he needed to take care of his enemy and stop Cole from getting a third win in a row.
Duke has broken his silence on Twitter after making his Dynamite debut.
"Well. I guess my MESSAGE was well received. #AEWDynamite," he wrote.
Adam Cole will face Konosuke Takeshita as MJF's plan comes into play
Adam Cole needs to pick three victories to face Maxwell at Full Gear. He has already defeated House of Black's Buddy Matthews and Malakai Black. He is just one win away from decimating the former AEW World Champion. The Panama City Playboy is in a race with Roderick Strong.
Following his match, Cole predicted that the match at Full Gear could become a triple threat if Roderick, too, wins three matches in a row. Being afraid of the situation, MJF called Don Callis to handle business. Now, Adam Cole is slated to wrestle against Konosuke Takeshita in the upcoming episode of Dynamite.
It will be interesting to see if Konosuke Takeshita stops Adam from facing the former American Champion.
