"It’s alright, Jey’s there" - Fans shocked by Buddy Matthews' request to Tony Khan after Rhea Ripley gets betrayed

Buddy Matthews had a request for Tony Khan after Rhea Ripley got betrayed at WWE SummerSlam. Fans have since reacted to his request.

Ever since Dominik Mysterio joined The Judgment Day, he has been by the side of Rhea Ripley, forming an onscreen couple. Rhea was instrumental in Dominik winning the NXT North American Championship and helped his character grow along the way.

However, for the past few months, Liv Morgan has been trying to steal Dominik in Rhea's absence. This caused some tension between Mami and Dom but the latter emphatically chose The Eradicator when he told Liv that he hates her.

However, at WWE SummerSlam, Dom interfered in Rhea's match against Liv and helped the latter retain the Women's World Championship. After the match, he helped Liv off the ground and kissed her in front of Mami, clearly picking his side in this battle.

Following this, Buddy Matthews who is Rhea's real-life husband took to social media and requested Tony Khan to let him go help his wife.

"TK can I help Mami real quick?"

After the tweet went viral on social media, fans quickly responded to it and gave their thoughts on the whole situation. Check out some of their reactions below:

JD McDonagh makes a massive statement after heartbreaking betrayals of Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley

At SummerSlam, it wasn't just Rhea Ripley who got betrayed. Finn Balor turned on Damian Priest in the World Heavyweight Championship match and helped Gunther defeat him and end his reign.

Following these two betrayals, JD McDonagh took to social media to declare that he never liked the Judgment Day shirt, thereby pledging his allegiance to Finn Balor.

"Never liked this shirt anyway," McDonagh wrote.

It was Finn Balor who brought JD McDonagh into The Judgment Day despite Damian Priest's objections. McDonagh had to earn his way into the group and after several weeks, he finally earned Priest's trust. Hence, it makes sense that he has sided with Balor, who has been a mentor to him.
