Jade Cargill reacts to rumors of Ricky Starks finally leaving AEW for WWE
Ricky Starks is rumored to be leaving AEW for WWE. Jade Cargill has reacted to these rumors.
Ever since Starks made his AEW debut, it was clear that he was destined to be a star. He was good in the ring and his promo skills were on point and was even involved in a lot of major storylines initially in his AEW run. However, he hasn't made a TV appearance for the promotion in recent months which has raised a lot of eyebrows.
There have been rumors that Ricky Starks could be leaving AEW once his contract expires and he could be headed to WWE. Starks has visited a few WWE Premium Live Events to support his close friend Cody Rhodes. He was in attendance when the American Nightmare won the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 40.
During a recent interview with Stephanie Chase, Ricky's close friend Jade Cargill was all praise for the AEW star. She even called him her best friend in the industry:
“I want whatever Ricky Starks wants. He’s a star within himself. He’s relentless, his work ethic is unmatched. He just is himself. Promo game is spectacular. He’s my best friend in the industry. Wherever I [am], I’m like, ‘You have to come.’ When I say you have to come, if I have time off, I’m like, ‘Hey, come and train with me. We can make something out of it. You can come, we’re going to hang out, which he came, and he hung out, and I was liked we can make training a part of it as well. Why not? Just to get a feel and everything like that because I come up with ideas with Ricky Starks."
She continued to say that he's happy where he's at and she is happy for him:
"We’re just like this [meshes her hands], we just collide, we have great ideas. We have great fashion tastes, we talk about everything under the sun. He’s in a good place right now. But I am on for whatever he’s on. He’s happy where he’s at right now, and I’m happy for him," Cargill said. [H/T Fightful]
