Jim Ross is a massive fan of Death Riders member in AEW, and it's not Jon Moxley

Jon Moxley's faction, The Death Riders, has become one of the most feared groups in professional wrestling. Despite their actions onscreen, legendary commentator Jim Ross is a massive fan of one of the members of the faction.

Marina Shafir signed with AEW in 2021. The 36-year-old started gaining a lot of traction earlier this year after she was paired with Jon Moxley. Together, they formed The Death Riders along with Claudio Castagnoli, PAC, and Wheeler Yuta. Their mission has been to restore AEW to its glory days, and the faction has shown there is no line it won't cross to achieve its mission.

Since aligning with Moxley, Marina Shafir has been involved in many segments and has become an integral part of the stable. Recently, Jim Ross praised her on his Grilling JR podcast. The AEW commentator said that she was the missing piece of the puzzle that made The Death Riders perfect.

“I’ll sing the praises of Marina Shafir. She just adds a different element. I have never on this show explained it as I should because I’m not sure how to explain it. She’s just that element, that one ingredient to the stew that makes it perfect. So I think she’s been a huge addition to the process," Ross said. [H/T: Fightful]

Konnan is unhappy with Jon Moxley and The Death Riders' booking

Ever since coming together, The Death Riders stable has looked unstoppable. The faction members have put the entire AEW locker room on notice and have taken out anyone who stood in their way.

With his stablemates in his corner, The Purveyor of Violence could hold onto the AEW World Championship for a very long time. However, given how this storyline has played out so far, one wrestling veteran is not invested in it at all.

Speaking on his Keepin' It 100 OFFICIAL podcast, Konnan said that he was not interested in Jon Moxley and The Death Riders' storyline.

"I'm absolutely not interested; they've done nothing to interest me. They don't come off as intimidating or interesting. Whoever is writing this, if it's [Jon] Moxley, that's good because you're getting a lot of TV at the beginning, and you look cool. But I'm not invested in this at all," he said.
