Jon Moxley and his allies could be stopped in AEW if top stars turn babyface, WWE veteran says
Jon Moxley and his allies have been dominating the AEW locker room. WWE veteran Tommy Dreamer believes that The Hurt Syndicate can stop the Blackpool Combat Club if they turn babyface.
Moxley, PAC, Marina Shafir, Wheeler Yuta, and Claudio Castagnoli have launched a war against Tony Khan and his supporters. They are decimating anyone and everyone who is trying to oppose them.
Speaking on a recent edition of Busted Open After Dark, Tommy Dreamer stated that The Hurt Syndicate has the muscle power to go up against Jon Moxley's dominant heel faction.
"If you can imagine [BCC vs Hurt Syndicate], which they probably would be if the Hurt Syndicate become babyfaces. They are physical, dominant forces, to who can stop them?"
Dreamer further explored who else Bobby Lashley's faction might feud with in the upcoming weeks.
"It's interesting to see where you can go, and again, with all these groups — Christian has a group, you have a group of babyfaces against this horrible group of Jon Moxley and the guys, you have Okada with the Young Bucks and Jack Perry. Lot of heel factions, don't know where it's all going. When you have a business decision and a business group like this — and I call them that because it was the Hurt Business and now they're going with the Hurt Syndicate — they have the titles of what they want to do: hurt." Tommy Dreamer's reaction to Bobby Lashley's AEW debut
Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Tommy Dreamer commented on Bobby Lashley's AEW debut and speculated that Tony Khan is building up a rivalry between Swerve Strickland and The All Mighty which might lead to a match at Full Gear 2024.
"Obviously, they're trying to set [up] Full Gear," Dreamer said. "This should be a marquee match-up with ... about a three-week build. ... I think this group is good for business. ... I'm a massive fan of all those guys, from MVP, Shelton Benjamin, and Bobby Lashley — both personally and professionally."
On the October 30, edition of AEW Dynamite, Bobby Lashley made his much-anticipated debut and confronted Swerve Strickland. He attacked The Realest Star to prove a point and assert his dominance.
