Jon Moxley insulted as Roman Reigns' dominance felt on AEW Dynamite
AEW star Jon Moxley was taunted on AEW Dynamite and told to reunite with Roman Reigns. The former WWE Undisputed Champion has been one of the biggest draws in the pro wrestling industry right now, and his name being mentioned on an AEW show is hugely acknowledged on social media.
Jon Moxley, aka Dean Ambrose, was part of the Shield in WWE alongside Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins. The trio was a popular faction that split in 2014 after The Visionary hit Reigns with a chair. Following their separation, all three stars went on to become WWE Champions.
While Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns are still in the Stamford-based promotion, Jon Moxley became All Elite in 2019. He has been one of the biggest draws for the promotion since day one. He is currently holding the AEW World Championship and leading the promotion. The Death Rider leader is on a mission to take over AEW and has been attacking every weak link on the roster.
On tonight's Dynamite, the reigning AEW World Champion was slated to take over the TBS SuperStation. He went to the ring and continued his mind games with Orange Cassidy, his opponent at Full Gear. While he was cutting a promo in the ring, a fan seemingly insulted the One True King.
During the segment, a fan in the crowd shouted, 'Go back to Roman.' His sound was clearly audible, as the crowd was quiet and eager to listen to Mox's words.
It will be interesting to see if the Original Tribal Chief responds to his namedropped on Dynamite.
