Jon Moxley to lose his title to AEW star he has never lost to before? Exploring why their 5th match could end differently
Jon Moxley and The Blackpool Combat Club have been wreaking havoc on AEW. At All Out 2024, they kicked Bryan Danielson out in brutal fashion. Furthermore, at the recent WrestleDream Pay-Per-View, the former Lunatic Fringe defeated The American Dragon to capture the AEW World Championship for the fourth time in his career.
In the recent episode of Dynamite, this cycle of violence continued as The BCC laid waste to the company's babyfaces. Interestingly, Darby Allin has a major role to play in this storyline. When Danielson was being tortured by the faction at WrestleDream, Allin witnessed the horror firsthand. The group tied him to the turnbuckle with duct tape. Even though he begged them to not harm the leader of The "Yes!" Movement, his cries went unheard.
There must be a war going on inside Darby Allin's head. Had he defeated Jon Moxley at the Grand Slam, The American Dragon wouldn't have suffered so severely. Furthermore, not being able to save his hero from a vicious beatdown must have scarred him and lit a fire of vengeance.
Allin and Moxley have locked horns for a total of four times with the Invisible Man losing every encounter. However, there is a good possibility that the next time they battle, the former TNT Champion will pin The Purveyor of Violence. It will probably be for the AEW World Championship and Allin must win it for Bryan Danielson and all the good in the company.
Jon Moxley sent a frightening message to the locker room on AEW Dynamite
In this week's episode of Dynamite, after Moxley, Shafir, PAC, Yuta, and Castagnoli destroyed the company's faces, the AEW World Champion delivered a terrifying promo.
“If you’re involved with All Elite Wrestling, you’re under attack. This is just the cost of doing business!” Moxley said.
It will be interesting to see who will stand up against Jon Moxley and his faction. The next episode of Dynamite will be very important.
