Jon Moxley's partner seemingly reveals new nickname ahead of AEW Fright Night Dynamite
For the past few months, Jon Moxley and his faction have been wreaking havoc on the AEW locker room. Not only is the former Dean Ambrose the reigning AEW World Champion, but The Blackpool Combat Club has proven to be a force to be reckoned with.
The current iteration of The BCC consists of Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta, Claudio Castagnoli, Marina Shafir, and PAC. From 2018 to 2021, Shafir was signed to the WWE. She jumped ship to All Elite Wrestling in 2021, but her popularity increased after she joined forces with Moxley earlier this year in August. Ever since her stable's leader became the company's new World Champion, she has been seen several times with his belt. Furthermore, this belt is kept in a secure briefcase, and the 36-year-old star looks after it.
Recently, Shafir shared an image of her and the briefcase on her Instagram. In the caption of the post, she seems to have revealed her new nickname: "The Keeper."
It will be interesting to see what the future holds for Marina Shafir. She has been receiving favorable reactions from fans worldwide, so Tony Khan might consider giving her a major singles push. Furthermore, she could even compete for the AEW Women's World Championship or the AEW TBS Championship in the near future.
Following relentless assaults by Jon Moxley and Co., Orange Cassidy will appear in the upcoming episode of Dynamite
Jon Moxley and his faction's goal at the moment is to seemingly make Orange Cassidy's life miserable. However, the latter has also been showing signs of a heel turn. On AEW Fright Night Dynamite, the former two-time AEW International Champion is advertised to make a live appearance and perhaps address the future.
Here is the match card for the upcoming show.
- Adam Cole vs. Buddy Matthews
- Kamille vs. Kris Statlander
- Swerve Strickland vs. Shelton Benjamin
- The Young Bucks vs. Private Party for the AEW Tag Team Titles (Private Party will split if they lose)
AEW Fright Night Dynamite will take place at the Wolstein Center in Cleveland, Ohio. It will be interesting to see if The Freshly Squeezed will swerve everyone and join forces with Mox and Co.
