Jon Moxley targets former AEW champion as next victim on Dynamite
Jon Moxley may have warned a former AEW champion about an imminent attack from his faction on this week's episode of Dynamite. The show aired from Salt Lake City, Utah.
Ever since dethroning Bryan Danielson for the AEW World Championship and directing The Blackpool Combat Club to destroy one of their founding members at WrestleDream 2024, Jon Moxley and his stable have been waging war against the All Elite locker room, attacking its talent in the ring and the backstage area almost indiscriminately.
The latest edition of Dynamite opened with a promo recapping Moxley and The BCC's actions from last week. The video revisited the group's motivations and the reactions their ambushes have spurred among the roster.
The promo referenced former AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy's reluctance to lead the charge against The BCC and concluded with Jon Moxley teasing that he and his stable may brutalize an unnamed All Elite competitor or collective. The clip raised the possibility that Moxley will go after the Freshly Squeezed star once again on Dynamite.
"A caterpillar doesn't just get to be a butterfly, no. Those wings ain't free. A caterpillar eats itself. A caterpillar is compelled by instinct in nature to cannibalize itself. Imagine what we could become at AEW, we all have that same instinct. Tonight on Dynamite, just a little piece of someone will be destroyed forever, but it's for their own good. And for the greater good. Always for the greater good," said Moxley.
It remains to be seen what The BCC has in store for the Wednesday night show.
