Kayla Braxton responds to AEW rumors ahead of imminent WWE departure
WWE personality Kayla Braxton recently took to X/Twitter to react to rumors about a potential move to AEW. She has been linked with a move to the Jacksonville-based promotion after a significant announcement.
Braxton has been a big part of SmackDown, RAW, NXT, and premium live events during her almost eight-year stint in the Stamford-based promotion. A couple of days ago, the 33-year-old announced that she is leaving the global juggernaut later this week. She has been linked with a move to AEW ever since, with rumors circulating that she has held talks with the Tony Khan-led company.
However, Kayla Braxton was quick to squash the reports when she shared a post on social media. The popular presenter first thanked fans for the "overwhelming" support before adding that she wouldn't have left WWE if she wanted to continue in the pro wrestling business.

I am so thankful for u.But I did wanna make 1 thing clear as I enter my final week in WWE: if I wanted to keep working in wrestling, I wouldn’t be walking away from the largest wrestling company in the world. It is pretty evident that Braxton was a beloved figure in the Stamford-based promotion and her absence will be surely felt. With her ruling out a move to AEW, it remains to be seen where she ends up after her exit from the global juggernaut.
