Keith Lee sends a message amid AEW hiatus

AEW star Keith Lee is one of the stars on the roster who has been on a long-term hiatus due to health issues. Many fans have been hoping for his speedy recovery, as they keenly anticipate his return to the squared circle.

The Limitless One has not been seen in the ring since December 2023. He was scheduled to face off against his rival Swerve Strickland during last year's Worlds End pay-per-view, but he had to pull out due to not being cleared by doctors. It has been more than a year since then, and unfortunately, there has yet to be any improvement on his end.

On X/Twitter, Keith Lee took time to send out an inspirational message ahead of the year's end. He claimed that 2025 may bring some challenges, but he expressed how he believed in everyone.

"2025 will test many of you most in first quarter of the year. Keep your head up. Be mindful. And believe in yourself. I believe in you," Lee wrote.

Keith Lee has reassured everyone that his time will come

Amid his current hiatus, many fear that there could be a possibility that Keith Lee may never return to the ring. He has been out of action for more than a year without any positive updates.

Sean Ross Sapp, of Fightful Select, reported that he did not believe that Lee was done just yet, but confirmed that he has not heard any updates regarding the AEW star. As of now, he has yet to be cleared by doctors for anything wrestling-related.

Back in October, Keith Lee took to X/Twitter to express how thankful he was for the support he has been constantly getting from everyone. He reassured the fans, saying that just like him, they should keep hanging in there, and that their time will come.

"I certainly don't see them all, but I have seen many. I must take the time to say thank you. And I must take the time to tell you.... We are not done. Hang in there, just like I am. Whatever it is.... The time will come. Let's move forward. Oh. And don't forget to go vote," Lee posted.

The former NXT Champion has cemented his place as one of the best of this era. Hopefully in 2025, he'll get closer to an in-ring return.
