Konnan says female AEW star is "ridiculously hot," compares her to WWE legend Trish Stratus

Anna Jay has been garnering a lot of attention in AEW. She is currently affiliated with the Jericho Appreciation Society and has featured in a high-intensity feud with Julia Hart of the House of Black.

She has also drawn comparisons to a multi-time WWE Women's Champion Trish Stratus but not for the reasons one would expect. In the latest Keepin' It 100 podcast, Konnan talked about the JAS member's recent No Holds Barred match on AEW Dynamite against Julia Hart.

The former WCW wrestler gave out a little criticism of Jay's performance in recent matches. He then compared her to WWE legend Trish Startus, but in the sense that both superstars were not believable as heels.

"Anna is ridiculously hot, but sometimes her selling is bad. She doesn't know how to work the crowd, she has zero heel mannerisms, she's like a what's a girl in WWE, Trish? She's like Trish, she's not believable." (25:50-26:04)

Let us see if Jay makes improvements to how she performs during matches and her entire demeanor as a heel.

Julia Hart managed to defeat Anna Jay on AEW Dynamite

Anna Jay, a member of the Jericho Appreciation Society, and House of Black's Julia Hart took their fiesty feud to the next level in the No Holds Barred match on last week's AEW Dynamite.

After a vicious battle, Hart managed to pick up the victory with Hartless submission move.

Oh yeah....First of all, this promo is amazing. Second, it is clearly enough that Julia Hart & House of Black wants Anna Jay to turn on JAS & join HOB. And third, how Julia is setting up a newest member to HOB. #AEW #AEWDynamite #AEWRampage @AEW @TonyKhan @TheJuliaHart https://t.co/8aKLLjvTgz

With Julia Hart winning both matches in the storyline between the two stars, it will be interesting to see the path Anna Jay takes moving forward in the Jacksonville-based promotion.
