Konnan thinks MVP buried 45-year-old veteran on AEW debut

Konnan thinks that MVP may have buried a 45-year-old veteran on his AEW debut. This should make for interesting viewing given that things will take better shape once the star returns fire.

The name in question is none other than Prince Nana. The former WWE star confronted Prince Nana when he made his debut at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam. He then proceeded to reveal that he wished to manage Swerve Strickland in the future.

Konnan, who does not mince his words, gave his opinion on the segment and said that the debutant essentially buried Prince Nana. Speaking on his K100 podcast, he said:

“The only thing I would have added to that is why would Nana keep the card. I would have, when, once MVP left, I would have burnt that. I'm not your messenger. I would have said 'I'm not messenger,' ripped that in his mug and walked off. He kind of buried him.” [21:47 - 22:03]

Konnan thinks there will be a faction battle between MVP and Prince Nana

In the same episode, the WCW veteran also said that there is a nice dynamic that is being built between MVP and Prince Nana.

It is clear that the two stars will be out to get each other when push comes to shove. With the former WWE star poised to create his new faction, there could be a faction war in AEW.

Konnan agreed with that assessment and also had his reasons as to why that could be the case.

“I think it'll be a faction battle. I think they got a good thing going with the chemistry with Nana and him.” [22:13 - 22:18]

The former WWE star will be out to make a statement since he made his AEW debut just last week. With his first interaction with Nana, he has laid the foundation for what could be a good rivalry. It will be interesting to see what is in store for AEW’s newest signing.
