Latest on MJF and Will Ospreay’s condition after grueling AEW match - Reports
A recent report divulged MJF and Will Ospreay's well-being after a ruthless match. The duo wrestled in an hour-long match at Dynamite 250.
Wrestling for an hour can never be easy. The more time one wrestles, the more chances there are of being injured. MJF and Will Ospreay tore the house down recently when they fought for the International Championship.
MJF has elevated himself as the face of the company in just a few years. He recently returned to AEW after almost five months of absence. During his absence, the Aerial Assassin had already captured everyone's attention and became the top attraction, dethroning MJF from his spot. Tired of Maxwell's actions, Will Ospreay challenged the Wolf of Wrestling to a shot at the International Championship.
The entertaining bout had many high sports throughout the match. In one instance, the Aerial Assassin potentially dislocated his shoulder during the match, which was popped right back into the socket by the ringside doctor. The contest was eventually won by MJF, who later needed an oxygen mask to recover.
Fans were worried about both the competitors following the brutal match. However, as per Fightful, both the stars are healthy and fine.
Tommy Dreamer says MJF vs Will Ospreay was a 'masterful piece of art'
The Wolf of Wrestling defeated Will Ospreay to win the International Championship at 59 Minutes and 58 seconds. While many criticized the length of the match, several of them applauded the efforts of both wrestlers involved in it.
While speaking on Busted Open Radio, ECW Legend Tommy Dreamer praised the bout and claimed to have enjoyed the match.
"Let me tell you, there's points where you're trying to get energy and you really do need to feed it off the fans. I'm talking when you're 48 [minutes] in because now you're thinking about that clock. It was a masterful piece of art. I really, really enjoyed it," Tommy said.
It will be interesting to see who emerges to be MJF's first challenger for the International Championship.
