Legend reacts to Tony Khan saying WWE was the "Harvey Weinstein of pro wrestling" (Exclusive)

Former WWE manager Dutch Mantell recently reacted to AEW CEO Tony Khan's recent shot towards WWE.

After getting ambushed by The Elite on the recent episode of Dynamite, Tony Khan appeared on the NFL Draft Kick-Off stream in a neckbrace to promote All Elite Wrestling and the Jacksonville Jaguars. During the stream, Khan would go on to take a major shot at the WWE and called the promotion an 'Evil Juggernaut' and Harvey Weinstein of pro wrestling. He also claimed that AEW is the Pepsi of professional wrestling.

Reacting to Khan's potshots at WWE on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk podcast, Dutch Mantell stated that Tony got people talking and may have managed to bring eyes to All Elite Wrestling.

"What gets people talking is negativity. The more negative you are, the more they quote ya. I think they got more out of that than they could get running a bunch of commercials that cost them a ton of money. So he got on there, they asked him, and he sat there, and he didn't really look hurt, but that's not the point. He got the AEW message out, and maybe he's learned something," he said. [7:26-8:00]

Tony Khan recently reacted to The Elite's attack on AEW Dynamite

This past week on AEW Dynamite, The Elite took out Tony Khan with the TK Driver. The attack led to multiple stars coming to the ring, including Tony's father, Shahid Khan. Speaking in an interview with the NFL Network, Khan reacted to the brutal attack and claimed that it scared him and his family.

“I reinstated him [Jack Perry] Wednesday night on TBS by his own request. He repaid me by hitting me in the stomach with a microphone, and then Matt and Nick pulled me up and gave me the Tony Khan Driver, which is really a spike piledriver. It’s one of the deadliest moves in pro wrestling; it’s been banned in a lot of states. It’s illegal in the state of Tennessee, and for them to do that to me in front of millions of people around the world and a great audience live Wednesday night on TBS, it scared me and it scared my family, and I just feel really lucky that I’m here at the NFL Draft and with the Jaguars and able to still be working at the Jaguars and AEW right now,” he said. It will be interesting to see how Khan responds to the attack from The Elite on the upcoming edition of Dynamite.
