Liv Morgan receives a message from former WWE Superstar after RAW

Liv Morgan recently received a message from a former WWE Superstar following her confrontation with Becky Lynch during the latest episode of Monday Night RAW. The former superstar in question would be CJ Perry, formerly known as Lana.

Perry spent eight years with WWE, mostly serving as the manager of Rusev, now known as Miro, until he eventually left the Stamford-based company. She then continued her time as a singles star and ended up leaving the company in 2021. In September last year, she signed with AEW and reunited with her ex-husband, Miro, but she has not been seen on television since December 2023, so her current status with the Jacksonville-based company is unknown.

On Instagram, CJ Perry shared a story containing a clip from WWE's official account which showed Liv Morgan playing mind games with Becky Lynch ahead of their Women's World Championship match at the King and Queen of the Ring Premium Live Event. Perry praised her friend as she was getting under her rival's skin.

"The definition of working smart !!!!!! Proud of you @yaonlylivvonce !! It's so fun getting under peoples skin," CJ Perry shared.

What the future has in store for CJ Perry remains to be seen.

Liv Morgan revealed there was more to the on-screen love angle with CJ Perry (fka Lana) in WWE

Back in 2019, WWE had one of the most unique love angles on television which kept fans engaged with the product.

Bobby Lashley was suddenly getting close to Lana, now known as CJ Perry, much to Rusev's dismay as he was the then-partner of The Ravishing Russian. This led to a love triangle forming, and Liv Morgan eventually joined sides with the Best Man to even the odds. It was then revealed that even Morgan was interested in Lana.

In her recent interview with Chris Van Vliet, Liv talked about the storyline, and how no one would know how it would have culminated because it ended abruptly. She talked about how there could have been more in store but she never found out about the full story and no one else will.

"The world may never know... I don't know. But I was just down for the sickness. And who knows? You know, I'll never know, so you guys will never know," Liv Morgan said. [24:43 - 24:57]

Morgan believed that maybe the story was never meant to be finished and she had peace with that:

"Yeah, I agree, but I think everything happens for a reason, and for whatever reason, it didn't happen, and I can be okay with that." [25:09 - 25:16]

At this point, it remains to be seen whether fans will ever see Liv Morgan and CJ Perry in the same wrestling promotion, but the two continue to be the closest of friends in real life.
