Major possible reason why Vince McMahon can't do business with AEW explained by a legendary journalist (Exclusive)
Legendary Journalist and Sportskeeda Wrestling's Senior Editor Bill Apter recently revealed why he believes Vince McMahon can not work with AEW amidst the possibility of Shane McMahon's potential signing with the company. McMahon is the former President of WWE.
Vince McMahon stepped down as the chairman of WWE in 2022 after facing multiple allegations. Earlier this year, the TKO Group Holdings, which was formed by the merger of WWE and UFC, officially cut ties with Vince.
On the recent edition of Sportskeeda Wrestling's The Wrestling Time Machine, Bill Apter explained that McMahon can not take part in negotiations with any wrestling company due to his lawsuits. He further stated that Shane McMahon can do whatever he wants to do with his future.
"I also think there are probably legal reasons that you are saying the third man in the room physically. I don't think legally Vince McMahon could do anything right now. He's got a lot of hanging over his head and we don't know he might have some sort of, this would sound ridiculous but he might have some sort of, 'You can't be in a televised wrestling business or help another company due to these lawsuits until you're free and clear of all this garbage' that went on with him. But I think he's his own man Shane McMahon and he will whatever he wants whether his father suggest there or not." [From 08:18 to 08:59]

In the same episode, the former SmackDown GM Teddy Long agreed that Shane McMahon might be willing to work on his own, however, did not opt out of the possibility of Shane O'Mac working with Vince McMahon due to the relationship between the two.
"I think that too. I think Shane [McMahon] is his own man too but you know there's nothing like father and son and like I said, Vince [McMahon] wasn't in the room, we didn't hear anything about that... There was no sighting of him or nothing, The man has got freedom of speech." [From 09:00 to 09:27]
