Major star leaving AEW and finishing in-ring career in WWE is possible, according to Bully Ray

Hall of Famer, Bully Ray (fka Bubba Ray Dudley) claimed that a former AEW World Champion could finish up his career in the WWE. Bully believes that the top star could leave Tony Khan's promotion.

The major star in question is none other than Chris Jericho. Chris has been a part of All Elite Wrestling ever since the company's inception back in 2019. He also happens to be the first-ever AEW World Champion. Meanwhile, many fans on the internet have been wondering when the 53-year-old legend will retire from in-ring competition.

WWE Hall of Famer, Bully Ray made a bold claim about the end of Jericho's career. Bully Ray believes that Jericho will finish up his career in the WWE and will be inducted into the Hall of Fame, and that the Stamford-based promotion also sees a value in it.

Speaking on the Busted Open Radio recently, Bully Ray stated the following:

"Chris Jericho will finish his career in the WWE, End of story, and be inducted into the Hall of Fame, and then pull an Axl Rose and no-show his Hall of Fame induction. Chris is very smart, Chris is a master chess player. You don't think that the WWE sees the value of Chris Jericho's last run in the WWE? It's a no-brainer."

Chris Jericho is set for a grudge match on AEW Dynamite this week

At the All In 2024 event, Chris Jericho lost the FTW Championship to HOOK. After losing the title, Jericho has been in a feud with the former International Champion, Orange Cassidy. After weeks of buildup, Jericho and Cassidy are set to square off in a singles bout this Wednesday on AEW Dynamite.

The Learning Tree also attacked Orange Cassidy last Saturday on Collision to further fuel the fire. What transpires on Dynamite this Wednesday remains to be seen.
