AEW star Shelton Benjamin criticizes WWE
All Elite Wrestling’s newest star Shelton Benjamin has made a significant impact since he moved to the company. He has a spring in his step and he appears to be enjoying what he is doing.
The veteran recently spoke out against how he was treated in WWE and the manner he was underutilized. He also shed light on how he was enjoying working with the Tony Khan-led promotion. In a recent interview with Close Up with Renee Paquette, he said:
"I definitely feel like I'd been suppressed. [...] You know, I have been in the business for a little bit so I have done a few things. Yeah, I've definitely felt like here in AEW, I have had the opportunity to show fans who I really am, what I really can do. And not what was me doing what I had to do for the people I was working with previously. I really love that I can really be me here in AEW."
