Major update on AEW legend Taz's health

WWE and ECW legend Taz finally provided a major health update amid his absence from AEW for the past several weeks. He shared the latest picture of his recovery on social media.

Several weeks ago, the veteran announcer and wrestler, Taz was attacked behind the scenes as he informed through social media. He has not been with the commentary team since getting attacked, either. Taz's son, HOOK, recently revealed that Christian Cage attacked the ECW legend.

HOOK has been seeking revenge on Christian ever since finding out that Cage is his dad's attacker. This week on Dynamite, HOOK confronted Christian and The Patriarchy as Cage explained his attack on Taz in the parking lot and disrespected him in front of his son. This forced HOOK to run to the ring and take out The Patriarchy.

Meanwhile, after this week's Dynamite, Taz provided a major update on his health on X. The legendary announcer shared his recent picture with bandages on his leg, writing the following in his post:

"I’m gettin there!" he wrote.

AEW legend on if he wants one last match in his career

The AEW legend, Taz, wrestled his last match at the ECW One Night Stand event produced by WWE in 2006.

Earlier this year, the legendary announcer opened up on whether he would like to step in the ring for one last time. He rejected the idea while addressing the same on the X/Twitter platform:

"I'm 56 years old, I need both shoulders replaced and both knees replaced so there is no shot at all. lol Also, I had/have ZERO desire for '1 last match' for many years. No interest at all, once I left the ring years ago...I have been completely comfortable & happy about it. Back than, I focused moving onto my next career at the announced desk," Taz stated.

Moreover, Taz seems to be on the road to recovery after the attack, and only time will tell when he will return on AEW TV.
