Major update on Bryan Danielson after his big announcement during AEW Collision - Reports

Bryan Danielson is ready to hang up his full-time wrestling boots in 2024. He is potentially set to retire this year as a full-time wrestler after All In. He recently made a big announcement on AEW Collision.

The American Dragon has been in the pro wrestling business for more than two decades now. All the years he spent inside the ring took a toll on his body and he developed many injuries like neck issues. He even had to retire in 2016 but came back in 2018.

A few days ago in a Collision segment, Bryan Danielson had a sit-down interview with WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross. During the interview, he revealed that he is likely to get neck surgery later this year.

"And even the way I feel right now, I mean odds are, I'm going to have to get neck surgery before the end of this year. That's the reality of it. And that's kind of something that I have accepted, it's coming down the pike relatively soon," the wrestling veteran said. [1:55 - 2:13]
