Mariah May pitches an unexpected gimmick match against Toni Storm in AEW - "I could hurt her as much as possible"

Mariah May won the AEW Women's World Championship from Toni Storm at All In 2024, but that doesn't mean they're done with each other. May still has hatred boiling in her heart for her former mentor, and she recently revealed that she'd like to create a new match stipulation for another encounter with the Timeless star.

Mariah May was attached to Toni Storm from the moment she signed with AEW in 2023. However, she revealed her villainous side and betrayed her idol in July of this year. Storm has stayed under the radar since losing her championship, but Mariah would like to face her again in the future.

In a recent appearance on The Figure 4 Podcast, the AEW Women's World Champion revealed that she would like to create a Glamour Match in order to hurt Toni Storm as much as possible. However, she hasn't worked out the details of what the stipulation would entail:

"I have a beautiful face, all these weapons and stuff. It’s not particularly my thing because I don’t want to damage the Glamour. If Toni Storm ever resurrected, I don’t where she even is, and tried to touch me again, I would love to have a match, which means I could hurt her as much as possible. I would love to create some kind of Glamour match. I don’t know what that looks like. When I was on the independent scene, I had a Barbie Dream House Death Match, which was a weapons match, and everything had to be pink. I got disqualified because I used a red brick. That was a lot of fun." [H/T Fightful]

Toni Storm claims Mariah May is out of her life

The events of All In 2024 were highly distressing for 'Timeless' Toni Storm. After losing her AEW Women's World Championship, she left for Japan, where she competed in three matches at Stardom. After losing her shot at the IWGP Women's Championship, she made her way to CMLL, where she was defeated by La Catalina in Arena Mexico on October 18.

Despite this string of unfortunate losses, Toni Storm is still not ready to think about facing Mariah May in AEW again. The 29-year-old recently told FOX Sports MX that her former protege is out of her life:

"I don't know how to say her name, but I will because this is FOX, Mariah May. She ruined me, but she's gone; she is out of my life, but I'm in Mexico, and life is good. Don't trust anybody; don't bother with anyone; they'll just stab you on your back and slap you in the face; it's a terrible time!" she said.

It's unclear when Toni Storm's excursion in Mexico will end, but she seems to be taking it slow at the moment. Whether she will challenge for the Women's World Championship when she returns to AEW remains to be seen.
