Mariah May's title reign in jeopardy following major star's challenge during AEW All Out
AEW Women's World Champion Mariah May has been challenged by a female star for Dynamite next week. The two women confronted each other at the All Out pay-per-view in Chicago.
The star in question is Queen Aminata. During the All Out 2024 pre-show, Skye Blue made her return for an interview while standing on crutches. She was then interrupted by Mariah May, who attacked Skye on the stage and kicked her crutches away. Nonetheless, Queen Aminata came to the aid of Skye Blue, and The Glamour left the arena.
In an exclusive backstage promo during the All Out pay-per-view, Queen Aminata addressed the AEW Women's World Champion. Aminata seemingly challenged Mariah for Dynamite next Wednesday. In her promo, Aminata also stated that Skye Blue will come to exact revenge on The Glamour when she's healthy.
Mariah May won the AEW Women's World title by defeating Toni Storm at All In 2024 and recently successfully defended her title against Nyla Rose on Dynamite. Meanwhile, May has yet to answer Queen Aminata's challenge, and it's unclear whether the women's world title will be on the line on Dynamite. It also remains to be seen if the match will be made official.
