Mariah May has two very intriguing reasons for turning on Toni Storm, veteran states
A former WWE and ECW veteran shared his assumptions on why Mariah May surprisingly turned on the AEW Women's World Champion, Toni Storm. The shocking moment took place on Dynamite this week.
This past Wednesday on Dynamite, Mariah May won the women's Owen Hart Cup in the main event of the show. After her win, May celebrated with the AEW Women's World Champion, Toni Storm before shocking everyone by turning on Storm. Mariah brutally assaulted Toni and left her covered in blood.
Former WWE and ECW veteran, Tommy Dreamer shared his thoughts on May's shocking turn as well. Speaking on the Busted Open Radio, Dreamer cited two interesting possible reasons why Mariah turned on her mentor, Storm after the Owen Hart Cup victory:
"I now want to know why, 'cause it was complete... it was shocking. That's what you want in wrestling right? You don't see these things coming. She won everything so, why did she turn? If it's 'I turned to beat her up so she doesn't make it so I become the champion' is one thing, or like 'I broke this woman's heart' because what, the pay-per-view two weeks ago, they're kissing, they're making out and now 'I hate you, I've used you to get myself to the top and you are a b*tch,' and I love it."
