Massive challenge laid down to Jon Moxley’s faction ahead of AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam
Top AEW stars called out and challenged Jon Moxley's group on the latest episode of Dynamite. The tag team being discussed is Private Party.
PAC got a chance to team up with the Blackpool Combat Club's Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta at All In and won the AEW World Trios Championships in a Four-Way London Ladder match. When everything seemed normal, Castagnoli and Jon Moxley turned to Bryan Danielson at All Out pay-per-view two weeks later. While Danielson was being choked out with a plastic bag, Yuta was held back by PAC.
After Blackpool Combat Club separated following the attack, Wheeler Yuta remained a trios champion alongside Claudio and PAC. Last week, Wheeler revealed he was appalled by Jon Moxley's actions. Also, during the last edition of AEW Dynamite, the faction took out Private Party and Komander, who were slated to wrestle in a six-man tag team match.
On the recent Dynamite, Moxley and company called out the conflicted Wheeler to defend the AEW World Trios Championship, which the latter accepted a few moments later. They then laid out an open challenge for trios championships at the Grand Slam next week.
The Private Party accepted the challenge in no time and will seemingly fight for the championships next week. Also, Zay and Quen have yet to announce the third member to accompany them.
It will be interesting to see what goes down at Dynamite: Grand Slam next week.
