Massive debut for AEW Collision officially announced

AEW just announced that a massive debut will be taking place on the upcoming edition of Collision. A popular star will be returning to the company.

Penelope Ford and Kip Sabian were a big part of All Elite Wrestling during the company's formative days. They were involved in many notable storylines and feuds and even formed a partnership with Miro when he first arrived in the company.

Penelope Ford used to compete regularly on AEW Dynamite and Dark along with Kip Sabian. However, their appearances for the promotion dwindled over the years. While Sabian made sporadic appearances, Ford hasn't competed for the company since 2022.

All Elite Wrestling just took to social media to announce that Penelope Ford will face Robyn Renegade on Collision this week before she mixes it up with Jamie Hayter on Dynamite next week. While Ford has competed on Dynamite, this will be her debut on Collision.

"Saturday #AEWCollision TOMORROW NIGHT Cedar Rapids, IA 8pm ET / 7pm CT on TNT @thePenelopeFord vs Robyn Renegade Penelope returns to the ring for the first time in 2 years and she takes on @W18Robin, before she faces @jmehytr on Wednesday Night Dynamite, 11/6 in Manchester, NH," wrote the promotion.

Penelope Ford will be competing on AEW TV for the first time in two years

Although Penelope Ford was a regular feature in Tony Khan's promotion, she hasn't competed for the company since 2022. Her last match took place on an episode of Dark on October 12, 2022, when she teamed with Kip Sabian to face the team of Jeremy Prophet and Jessika Neri.

Her last match on Dynamite took place on the October 5, 2022, edition when she teamed with Serena Deeb and Jamie Hayter to face the team of Athena, Toni Storm, and Willow Nightingale. Since her last All Elite Wrestling bout, Ford has only competed in one other match for DDT's Into The Fight 2023.

It will be interesting to see if Penelope Ford will have any ring rust after being out of action for so long.
