Matt Hardy gives a huge update after Jeff Hardy gets stretched out following recent match
AEW and WWE veteran Matt Hardy recently commented on Jeff Hardy's status after his recent brutal match. Matt and Jeff are currently performing in TNA Wrestling.
During the July 18th episode of TNA, The Hardys unsuccessfully challenged The System (Brian Myers and Eddie Edwards) for the TNA World Tag Team Championships. After the match, Jeff was brutally ambushed by the remaining members of The System which resulted in the veteran getting stretchered out of the arena.
On X (formerly Twitter), Matt Hardy stated that after Jeff Hardy gets medically cleared, both will be coming for the TNA Tag Team Titles.
"Whenever my brother is medically cleared, we will be coming for the TNA Tag Titles. NOTHING WILL STOP US."
Matt Hardy speaks about potential WWE return with Jeff Hardy
The Hardy Boyz made a name for themselves in the WWE for their incredible TLC matches. Matt and Jeff Hardy have won multiple WWE Tag Team Titles and have also captured gold across the globe in companies like TNA, ROH, NJPW, and more. The duo recently returned to TNA and have been eyeing the TNA Tag Titles.
In an interview with Sportskeeda's Senior Editor Bill Apter, former United States Champion Matt Hardy reflected on the current partnership between TNA and NXT and revealed that he and Jeff Hardy would like to add the NXT Tag Team Titles to their list.
"In wrestling never say never, and I will say that the NXT Tag Team titles are not on our list of titles that we've won, so we are interested in that. And I think this crossover between NXT and TNA's great. It's exciting, it's unpredictable, and I think that's a positive for the business and the industry."
The Hardy Boyz made their huge return to the WWE at WrestleMania 33 in 2017. It will be interesting to see if the current TNA and NXT partnership allows them to have another major run in the Stamford-based promotion.
