Mega confrontation between 2 AEW stars with personal conflict set for Dynamite
A major confrontation is set to take place between two top AEW stars this week on Dynamite. The storyline concerned involves Christian Cage and Hook.
It was revealed ahead of an episode of Dynamite last month that All Elite commentator, Taz, had been attacked in the parking lot, as a result of which he had to be replaced on the show. The ECW legend's son, Hook, declared afterward that he would find and confront his father's assailant.
On the October 23, 2024, edition of the Wednesday night show, The Cold Hearted Handsome Devil attacked members of The Patriarchy in the ring after revealing that the heel faction was responsible for hurting Taz. However, though he had Christian Cage pinned to a corner, the budding star would suffer a low blow from Kip Sabian, which allowed Nick Wayne to plant Hook with a Wayne's World, and then for The Patriarch to deliver a Killswitch on the former FTW Champion onto his AEW World Championship contract case.
Ahead of the November 6, 2024, episode of Dynamite, AEW on TV's official X/Twitter handle announced that Hook and Christian Cage will have a face-to-face encounter on the upcoming show:
"After admitting he was the one who attacked Taz, @Christian4Peeps will be face-to-face with @730hook on #AEWDynamite Don't miss a moment LIVE this Wednesday at 8/7c only on TBS."
