Mercedes Mone (fka Sasha Banks) issues AEW TBS Title open challenge, but there’s a twist

Mercedes Mone (FKA Sasha Banks) issued an open challenge for her AEW TBS Championship on Dynamite. However, there is a major twist to that.

The former WWE Superstar has been having a bad time with fans for the past few weeks, despite becoming a double champion when she won the NJPW Strong Women’s Championship. For some reason, the fans have just not warmed up to her.

Mercedes Mone has now done something that will further infuriate them. The twist in her open challenge is that returning star Britt Baker cannot answer it, but it is open to all the other women on the roster. As we know, Baker is a huge fan favorite, and this stipulation will not go down well with them.

“To celebrate #AEWDynamite250 next week in Little Rock, I am going to have an open challenge for my TBS Title. The challenge is open to any woman on the AEW Roster except @RealBrittBaker,” she said.

On top of this, Mercedes Mone publicly appeared to mock WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart by calling herself the best there is, the best there was, the best there ever will be. It seems like she has fully embraced her heel persona.
